As we move into the last quarter of the year there is plenty happening at 33 Banks Avenue Daceyville. Tuesday Sept 21 we have our last Parent Information Evening of the Year.
Our all-important registration was approved by the Education Minister, the Honourable Sarah Mitchell, on August 26. This news that we’ve been waiting all year for has provided great momentum as we prepare Hartford for the next phase in our journey towards becoming a fully functional school.
Our next compliance goal is to successfully apply to cater for Years 5, 6 and 7 in 2023, bringing our offering of Year 7 a year forward of the original plan.
We’ve been happy to work with architect David Fleeting and interior designer, Marlowe Richards, to transform Hartford. The first steps focus on the interior of the school, particularly the classroom block and administration. We’re also hard at work with Beparta furniture to provide our school with state of the art materials that will enhance our capacity to deliver great education. More noticeable will be the new fence and sports courts along with revamped landscaping.
This year has been all about preparing for 2022 and we live in hope that it will be a return to normality. Being in Bayside, an LGA of concern, we at Hartford are particularly conscious of the struggle parents and schools have had this year with COVID and lockdowns. To support parents into the future Hartford commits to reducing fees to $1,000 applicable in either term one and/or term two where future lockdowns reach 50% of the term time.
We hope you can come along to our virtual Parent Information Evening on Tuesday, you can register for the event by following this demio link .
